Environment: Vallvidrera and Les Planes

Vallvidrera is located in the high part of Barcelona, right next to the Tibidabo amisement park, and Collserola, therefore has a beautiful view of the city.

This is a small residential area with real estate of the highest quality, due to its peaceful surroundings as well as the fact that it is not too far from Barcelona and very well communicated with the city centre.

The road towards Sant Cugat, leads to el Baixador de Vallvidrera, where the ancient parish of Vallvidrera is located. This area was in a state of ruin for many years, and has now been recovered and projected, since it is right inside the natural park. The whole area is being developed, and for this reason there is a great demand for houses in the area.

Here there are several small residential areas, such as Mas Guimbau, Mas Sauró and Rectoret, that are located on the mountaninside. It is still possible to find land for construction in these areas.

A little further on, but still within the area of Barcelona, is Les Planes. Until quite recently this area was very rund-down, due to the lack of respected for the town planning laws shown by of some of its residents. However, this situation has now been reversed, and it is forecasted that the area will undergo spectacular growth, with a medium residential level.

Vallvidrera is in a very different situation from other areas in Barcelona with regard to town planning because it is located in the park of Collserola, and the area is a protected area with many special features.

For this reason, any property buying or selling operation will require an extremely detailed study of these features as well as a thorough knowledge of the area.
